The state of Gujarat was created in may 1960.Gujarat is a state of Western India. The capital of the state Gandhinagar & state capital the city Ahmedabad – 7th largest city of India ,Manchester of the East.
Gujarat has given India two of the most prominent leaders in the Mahatma Gandhi and Sardar Vallabhbhai Patel. Gujarat is the mother-land of Mahatma Gandhi .It is also the birthplace of the Swaminarayan sect of Hinduism.
People are very fond of quality food. Ports like Cambay ,Dholera, Bharuch, Surat, Rander and Somnath were once great center of foreign trade. Gujarat is very famous for variety of food.
