  • Day 01
    Arrive Nairobi
    • On arrival into Nairobi, your Book My Destiny representative greets you at the ‘meeting point’ at the exit after immigration and customs and will brief you on your Safari.
    • Travel past Karatina and drive to your lodge for check-in (check-in after 1400 hrs). Your tree lodge which is nestled deep in Mount Kenya National Park is a world-renowned rustic tree-house and is dedicated to game viewing.
    • Tonight observe game as they come to the lodge’s flood-lit waterhole to drink water.Overnight in Mt. Kenya.
      Meal – Dinner

    Day 02
    Onto Sweetwaters
    • After breakfast, depart for the shoulders of Mt. Kenya. Drive through rich farmlands where coffee is grown among other crops and enjoy the scenery as you explore the Great Rift Valley on your drive to arrive at Sweetwaters for lunch at your camp.
    • Later, proceed for an afternoon game drive at the conservancy which is nestled between Mt. Kenya to the east and the Aberdares Mountains to the west.
    • The conservancy boasts a plethora of wildlife – over 400 species of birds, lion, elephant, rhino and cheetah among others. Overnight in Sweetwaters.

    Day 03
    Onto Lake Elementaita
    • Today, proceed to Lake Elementaita in the Rift Valley Region. From the North to the South of Kenya, the valley is lined with a series of freshwater and soda based volcanic lakes.
    • After lunch at the camp, enjoy an afternoon game drive in Soysambu Conservancy. Soysambu is a 48,000 acre Wildlife Conservancy, also a RAMSAR site – a wetland of international importance.
    • The alkaline lake’s rocky islands are the only East African nesting site for great white pelicans, while its algae and plankton provides food for vast flocks of flamingos and a multitude of other waterfowl, many of them rare.
    • The Conservancy protects over 450 bird species and 15,000 wild animals. Rothschild giraffes have found a safe haven for breeding here while a diverse variety of terrain shelters many species – from herds of giant elands to tiny dik-diks and cliff-dwelling klipspringers.
    • Night game-drives offer a unique opportunity to spot nocturnal creatures including the curious-looking aardvark and elusive leopard. Overnight in Lake Elementaita.

    Day 04
    Onto Masai Mara
    • This morning, depart for the rolling savannah plains of Masai Mara, backdrop to the greatest wildlife spectacle on earth – the annual migration of over one million wildebeest. Masai Mara although hilly is both humid and fertile thus offering an absolutely unique variety of animals.
    • This world-renowned reserve which stretches over 1510 sq. km. of open rolling grasslands is watered by the Mara River and littered with an astonishing amount of wildlife.
    • It is home to Africa’s famous “big five” (lion, elephant, rhino, leopard and buffalo). Enjoy an enthralling afternoon game drive where you have the chance to see wildlife like elephant, lion, buffalo, zebra, giraffe, hyena and many other birds like ostrich etc.Overnight in Masai Mara.

    Day 05
    In Masai Mara
    • Today, enjoy early morning and afternoon game drives for the opportunity to see the animals awaken to another day of feeding or catch a lion attempting a kill or enjoying what he has killed during the night.
    • This is the time when the animals go to the river to enjoy their first drink of water. You have several opportunities to spot lions, cheetahs and other spectacular predators which will be the highlight of your trip.
    • Masai Mara although hilly is both humid and fertile thus offering an absolutely unique variety of animals. There is a particularly dramatic “spectacle” from July to October – the annual migration of huge hers of gnus and zebras.
    • Predators such as hyenas, jackals, leopards and lions closely follow these herds. Gigantic herds of over 200 buffaloes can also be observed. Plenty of food is available for elephants, giraffes and the many species of antelopes.Overnight in Masai Mara.

    In Nairobi
    • Today, depart for Nairobi, Kenya’s most colorful city. The rest of the day is at leisure or you can explore the city on your own. Overnight in Nairobi.

    • Cost of US$ 10,000 granted by Reserve Bank of India under the Basic Travel Quota Scheme.
    • Any increase in airfare / taxes / routing charged by the airline for ticket (presently calculated on 15 July, 2015).
    • Airline and Hotel surcharges (if applicable) during High / Festive season, Trade Fairs, Exhibitions, Conventions, Special Events etc. to be paid extra per person.
    • Cost of extension of validity or deviation of your air ticket.
    • Any increase in rate of USD (presently calculated at USD 1 = INR 65) leading to an increase in Tour Cost coming into effect prior to departure. However, the rate prevailing on the given day of payment will apply.
    • Porterage at hotels, apartments, lodges, airports, laundry, wines, mineral water, telephone charges, insurance and all items of personal nature, also food and drinks not forming part of the group’s menu.
    • Anything not specifically mentioned in ‘What Your Tour Price Includes’ box.
    • An additional amount of INR 1,500/- per person is to be compulsorily paid by way of “Secure Your Booking Amount”.
    • Government Service Tax 5.00% on gross bill.
    • Optional and Add-on tours unless otherwise specified.

    • Medical tests and vaccinations required for travel to Kenya
    • Tips of USD 5 per person per day to be paid to drivers and guides.

  • Payment Policy

          • Initial deposit – Rs.15,000/-per person to confirm your booking with us.
          • 100% payment to be made at least 15 days before departure.
          • Total Payment in INR as per the prevailing exchange rate on the date of final Payment.

     

    Payment Policy : Cancellation

          • All services such as Airline seats / Hotel accommodation / ground transportation are per-blocked well in advance. We are liable to pay penalties to all our suppliers / vendors if these services are released within the below mentioned time frame.
          • If circumstances make you cancel the tour , the cancellation must be intimated to us in writing.

     

    Cancellation Will Attract The Following Cancellation

          • 35 Days or more prior to Departure              15% of the Tour Cost.
          • 34 Days to 15 Days prior to Departure          25% of the Tour Cost.
          • 14 Days to 08 Days prior to Departure          50% of the Tour Cost.
          • 08 Days and beyond                                          100% of the Tour Cost.

    Prices Are for a Minimum 2 passenger Traveling Together , No Refund for Un-utilized Service .

          • Given cost is estimated, based on lowest hotel rates existing as of now. We don’t hold any confirmation for hotels/airline.
          • Its subject to availability at the time of booking. Any difference in cost shall be borne by passenger.
          • Any further increase in airfare due to increase in the fuel price, change in government regulations, taxes, etc., charged by the airline will have to be borne by the passengers. Destiny Travels will not be held responsible for them. Above rates are subject to change with our prior notice.
          • Check-in time at hotel is 14:00 hrs & check-out time is 11:00 hrs.
          • Your tours and transfers are based on not at disposal basis.
          • Your itinerary will be strictly on timings.
          • Room rates based on standard rooms. Supplement cost will be applicable for valley facing rooms.
          • Breakfast will start from day 2 of the itinerary.
          • Services will be given in exchange of original vouchers/itinerary only.
          • If lunch is included in sightseeing it will be light pack lunch.
          • Portages and coach captain tips are extra.
          • Optional sightseeing has to be booked in advance on your own by paying an additional cost.
          • There is no refund for utilized service.
          • On hilly areas the ac will not work.
          • We will not be held responsible for any delays in airline leading to misconnecting of onward flights.
          • During sightseeing the vehicle will go up to permissible point only, from that point any arrangement to be made all extra expenses shall have to be borne by the passengers.
          • Any govt.tax levied must be borne by the passengers only.
          • Pre payment of journey is not allowed. It will be treated as cancellation & accordingly the cancellation charges will be applicable.
          • If accommodation is not available in the identified / specific hotel for the particular package tour due to reason beyond our control, we shall make our best efforts to shift the clients to hotel maintaining / having more or less the same standard.
          • No complaint or claim shall be made by the client in this respect.
          • If any airline is delayed or cancelled, Destiny Travels is not responsible for any compensation for hotels, meals, sightseeing or any other claim.
