  • Day 01
    Arrive In Xian
    • On arrival into Xi’an, you will be met and escorted by our representative to your hotel (check-in after 1400 hours).
    • Enjoy a viewing of the Tang Dynasty Show for a performance of Changan music and dance which originated during China’s Tang Dynasty over 1,000 years ago. Also, walk through a display of various ancient Chinese musical instruments. Overnight in Xian.

    Day 02
    Arrive In Xian
    • This morning, visit the archaeological site of the amazing Terracotta Warriors – a collection of 8,099 larger-than-life Chinese terracotta figures of warriors, horses and other figures, each celebrating Chinese unification.
    • The figures vary in height, according to their role, the tallest being the Generals. In 1974, near Xi’an in central China, villagers chanced upon what has become one of the world’s most astonishing archaeological findings – an 8,000 man army in battle-ready formation, each warrior a life-size figure in pottery made over 2,200 years ago. Later, visit Shan Xi Museum, the largest center for the collection, preservation, research and exhibition of cultural property in Shanxi Province. The museum has a fascinating collection of around 200,000 pieces of Shanxi cultural relics.Overnight in Xian.

    Day 03
    Onto Beijing
    • Proceed for an orientation tour of Xi’an including a visit to the Ancient City Wall built in 1374 AD on the lines of the city of Changan in the Tang Dynasty. They are 11.9 km in girth, with a top width of 12 to 14 meters, built of grey bricks and are still standing from the Middle Ages.
    • The gate towers built over each of the four city gates, painted a dark green, look lofty and magnificent, and form a tight defense engineering system. Then, proceed to visit the Big Wild Goose Pagoda, which houses sutras collected by a wandering Chinese monk in India, celebrating the onset of Buddhism in China. Later, transfer to the train station for your overnight train to Beijing. Overnight onboard the Sleeper Train.

    Day 04
    In Beijing
    • On arrival in Beijing, transfer for a fast food breakfast at KFC/McDonald’s. Then, transfer to your hotel for a short refreshment (check-in after 1400 hours). The grand finale is a visit to the Summer Palace, a magnificent imperial garden located 12 km west of Beijing City. A summer retreat for emperors and a chosen few in the past, it is now the largest and most ancient preserved garden in China, and includes over a 100 ancient pavilions, mansions, towers, halls, temples, bridges and an enormous clear water lake.
    • Later, proceed to the Olympic Park including the outside view of National Aquatics Center better known as the Water Cube and the National Stadium better known as the Bird’s Nest. The rest of the day is free to explore this city of marvels on your own. In the evening, enjoy a wonderful Kung Fu Show. ‘The Legend of Kung Fu’ is a unique theatrical production which celebrates the philosophy and skill of the martial art of Kung Fu through a compelling storyline, dramatic design, spectacular choreography and breath-taking music. A poignant and touching piece, the show blends the best of Kung Fu with exquisite ballet, music and wonderful theater. Overnight in Beijing.

    Day 05
    In Beijing
    • Today, proceed on a visit to the Jade Factory. Later, visit the only man-made structure visible from the moon, the Great Wall of China at Juyong Pass and enjoy a Cable car ride to the top.
    • The Great Wall is one of the oldest historic monuments in the world and a symbol of China’s ancient civilization. Just like a gigantic dragon, it winds up and down across deserts, grasslands, mountains and plateaus from east to west of China. Traditionally known as the “Wall of Ten thousand Li”, it leaves you spellbound by its sheer magnitude and architectural splendour.
    • Continue on an interesting drive along the Spirit Way guarded by stone animals and human figures and arrive at the Imperial Tombs which include Changling Tomb, the only existing burial chambers of the Ming Emperors.  Overnight in Beijing.

    In Beijing
    • Your day unfolds with a guided city tour of Beijing, viewing historic landmarks like Tiananmen Square. It’s the largest open public square in the world flanked by the imposing Tiananmen Gate and crowned by a tower with a typical tiled roof and the Museums of History and Revolution. Tiananmen (‘Gate of Heavenly Peace’) is the original gate of the Imperial Palace.
    • Your city tour continues to the palace, better known as the Forbidden City. Admire this architectural masterpiece with exotic pavilions, serene courtyards, rich halls and flourishing gardens. Later, we visit the famed Silk Alley Market boasting of more than 1000 stores.Overnight in Beijing.

    Day 07
    Onto Shanghai
    • Today, proceed to the train station to board your High-Speed Train to Shanghai. On arrival in Shanghai, transfer to your hotel for check-in (check-in after 1400 hrs). Later, enjoy a cruise on the Huangpu River gazing at the mighty skyscrapers, the Monument Tower to the People’s Heroes, the famous Waibaidu Bridge and Huangpu Park on one bank; the Orient Pearl TV Tower, International Convention Center, Jin Mao Building and the Pudong New Area on the other.
    • The Yang Pu and Nan Pu bridges span the river. One can also view the ruins of ancient cannon emplacements and fortifications at Wusong and the magnificent view of the Yangtze River as it empties into the sea. Overnight in Shanghai.

    Day 08
    In Shanghai
    • Get ready to depart on a full day sightseeing tour of Shanghai. Experience a ride onboard the world’s fastest train, the Maglev Train. Later, see the alluring, centuries-old Yu Yuan Gardens located in the Old Town of Shanghai which recreates a beautiful landscape of pagodas, pavilions, rockeries, fountains, ancient trees and precious flowers, the Town God’s Temple built in the 15 century, a well-known temple in Shanghai City.
    • Combined together, the Yu Yuan Gardens and Town God’s Temple make the Shanghai Yu Yuan Tourist Mart which features streets and shops of Chinese jade and traditional handicrafts as well as those of local snacks. Proceed towards the Bund and the Old City, where the great trading houses and banks had their headquarters in the early twentieth century, about a mile long, it is the city’s fulcrum.
    • In the afternoon head to Nanjing Road, the main street of the French Concession for some great value-for-money shopping. Visit the visually striking Oriental Pearl TV Tower.
    • In the evening, enjoy an astounding Acrobatic Show. One of the oldest performing arts in the world, Chinese Acrobatics borrows elements from the opera, dance and Chinese Kung Fu merging them into a wholly distinctive style. Overnight in Shanghai.

    Onto Kunming
    • Today, proceed to the airport for your flight to Kunming. On arrival, you will be transferred to the hotel (check-in after 1400 hrs). The rest of the day is at leisure. Overnight in Kunming.

    Homeward Bound
    • Today, proceed for an orientation tour of Kunming. Then visit the Stone Forest, one of the most important attractions of Yunnan province. Marvel at the natural stone masterpieces and the bewitching intricate formations.
    • See countless labyrinthine vistas created by the magnificent and steep landscape.Good times need never end! As you get ready for the airport and your flight back home, relive the high points of your ‘ Highlights of China’ tour.

    • Airline and Hotel surcharges (if applicable) during High / Festive season, Trade Fairs, Exhibitions, Conventions, Special Events etc. to be paid extra per person.
    • Cost of extension of validity or deviation of your air ticket.
    • Any increase in the rate of USD (presently calculated at USD 1 = INR 65) leading to an increase in Tour Cost coming into effect prior to departure. However, the rate prevailing on given day of payment will apply.
    • Porterage at hotels, apartments, train stations, airports, seaports, laundry, wines, mineral water, telephone charges, all items of personal nature and also food and drinks not forming part of the touring group’s menus.
    • Anything not specifically mentioned in ‘What Your Tour Price Includes’ box.
    • Government Service Tax of 5.00% on gross bill.
    • An additional amount of INR 1,500/- per person is to be compulsorily paid by way of “Secure Your Booking Amount”.

  • Payment Policy

          • Initial deposit – Rs.15,000/-per person to confirm your booking with us.
          • 100% payment to be made at least 15 days before departure.
          • Total Payment in INR as per the prevailing exchange rate on the date of final Payment.

     

    Payment Policy : Cancellation

          • All services such as Airline seats / Hotel accommodation / ground transportation are per-blocked well in advance. We are liable to pay penalties to all our suppliers / vendors if these services are released within the below mentioned time frame.
          • If circumstances make you cancel the tour , the cancellation must be intimated to us in writing.

     

    Cancellation Will Attract The Following Cancellation

          • 35 Days or more prior to Departure              15% of the Tour Cost.
          • 34 Days to 15 Days prior to Departure          25% of the Tour Cost.
          • 14 Days to 08 Days prior to Departure          50% of the Tour Cost.
          • 08 Days and beyond                                          100% of the Tour Cost.

    Prices Are for a Minimum 2 passenger Traveling Together , No Refund for Un-utilized Service .

          • Given cost is estimated, based on lowest hotel rates existing as of now. We don’t hold any confirmation for hotels/airline.
          • Its subject to availability at the time of booking. Any difference in cost shall be borne by passenger.
          • Any further increase in airfare due to increase in the fuel price, change in government regulations, taxes, etc., charged by the airline will have to be borne by the passengers. Destiny Travels will not be held responsible for them. Above rates are subject to change with our prior notice.
          • Check-in time at hotel is 14:00 hrs & check-out time is 11:00 hrs.
          • Your tours and transfers are based on not at disposal basis.
          • Your itinerary will be strictly on timings.
          • Room rates based on standard rooms. Supplement cost will be applicable for valley facing rooms.
          • Breakfast will start from day 2 of the itinerary.
          • Services will be given in exchange of original vouchers/itinerary only.
          • If lunch is included in sightseeing it will be light pack lunch.
          • Portages and coach captain tips are extra.
          • Optional sightseeing has to be booked in advance on your own by paying an additional cost.
          • There is no refund for utilized service.
          • On hilly areas the ac will not work.
          • We will not be held responsible for any delays in airline leading to misconnecting of onward flights.
          • During sightseeing the vehicle will go up to permissible point only, from that point any arrangement to be made all extra expenses shall have to be borne by the passengers.
          • Any govt.tax levied must be borne by the passengers only.
          • Pre payment of journey is not allowed. It will be treated as cancellation & accordingly the cancellation charges will be applicable.
          • If accommodation is not available in the identified / specific hotel for the particular package tour due to reason beyond our control, we shall make our best efforts to shift the clients to hotel maintaining / having more or less the same standard.
          • No complaint or claim shall be made by the client in this respect.
          • If any airline is delayed or cancelled, Destiny Travels is not responsible for any compensation for hotels, meals, sightseeing or any other claim.
